Week of 9/25



JV Girls had an awesome day of bonding at their pool party.  Good news - you can wear your new tie dye shirts on Tuesday since it's game day.  You're going to look GREAT!

This week's Schedule:

Monday - Regular practice til 5pm.
Tuesday - HOME GAME  I need a JV parent to step up and cover concessions with Ms. Banks!
Wednesday - 2 hour early dismissal - Practice is 12:30 - 2:30!!!
Thursday - Regular practice til 5pm
Friday - NO PRACTICE

NEW PRACTICE SCHEDULE

NEW PRACTICE SCHEDULE STARTS TOMORROW (9/21)

* Pick up time is the same - 5pm!

Effective tomorrow (Thursday, 9/21), JV will practice from 2:30 - 3:45.  They will go to study hall in the gym afterwards until 5pm.  Varsity will start in study hall from 2:30 - 3:45 and go to practice from 3:45 - 5pm.  This way both teams will have 2 coaches being hands on in practice and gives each team ample study hall time.

Also, remember there's no practice Friday this week.

What should I be doing on my Days OFF?

There are times where we may go 2 or 3 days without practice.  There are several things you can do in the meantime to get yourself ready for the next practice and game.  Here's Coach Payton's advice:

*  Stay hydrated
*  Rest!
* Watch what you eat
*  Do your homework
*  Study for tests/quizzes
*  Do non-volleyball activities
*  Bump to the wall

Doing these things will help you come back with a fresh mind and attitude and ready to conquer the back end of our schedule!

Week of 9/18

Yesterday's tournament at Magruder was a great experience, albeit exhausting!  I know the girls played with all their heart.  Thank you to the JV girls that came to support the team.  :)

Monday - Practice 2:30-5:00
Tuesday - Game @ Northern HS.  Dress up!!
Wednesday - Practice 2:30 - 5:00
Thursday - Practice 2:30 - 5:00

9/15-16

Friday practice 2:30-5pm for Varsity ONLY.
Tournament Saturday for Varsity - JV is welcome to attend.  Students must be at school by 6AM!

Week of September 11

What an exciting night against McDonough!  You ladies played so well!  Despite the loss, we're very proud of you.  Keep up the hard work and continue to persevere!

Tuesday - HOME game against Leonardtown HS
Wednesday - Practice 2:30-5
Thursday - Practice 2:30 - 5
Friday - Varsity Practice (JV by invite only - you'll know by Thursday)
Saturday - Varstiy Tournament at Magruder.  JV may attend.  Meet at Stone at 7am.  Be on time!!! 

We are in desperate need of volunteers for Concessions.  Please email me at dspencer@ccboe.com if you are available.  If we can't get coverage, we can't sell concessions.  :(

Great effort against Chopticon!  You girls make us parents so proud!  I hope you appreciate your rocks, because I truly believe YOU ROCK!
